In this Xpac I've been in Wizards IRL and Con Brio (and my alt/bank guild, The Unit). I left Wizards because I moved west, and their raid times became impossible for me to meet. I would not have left otherwise. I got into Con Brio as a "casual raider", which means I'm was low priority for invites, loot, etc. My dps was consistently below that of the core raider hunters, and I left because the whole thing was starting to depress me. My DPS is not LOW, by any means, just lower than the two hunters I was competing against, and probably moreso than could be accounted for by gear alone.

During BC, I was in several guilds, including Revenge briefly. I left most of the guilds I was in due to excessive personality conflict. I left Revenge because I read that 10 man raiding would be viable in Wrath, and I thought that would work better for me. That hasn't proven to be so much the case.

I see that hunter positions are full, but I was told by Asmodias that he spoke with Diranaux, who said that I should app regardless. I play this game way more than is healthy, so I will be on consistently for anything and everything, barring my kids having to go to the emergency room or something equally outside the bounds of day to day life. Hunters in Con Brio were assigned to soak orbs on heroic Twins, and I did so consistently. I wouldn't say that I am a super bowl champion of not standing in stuff, but I'm pretty good at it. While my dps may suffer under certain high movement circumstances, I know my role and am a consistent raider.

Frustratingly, my wife has a thing scheduled for this Friday night, so my consistent raider-ness will have to start next week if I am given a tryout.
